| The year 2004 is going to come to an end and I have lots of resolutions for the coming year. There have been a lot of changes in my life this year – graduated from my degree, tried teaching as a teacher and found another new job.
These changes are only the beginning of my next chapter in life - as a working adult. There will be a lot more challenges ahead of me.
So, what do I feel about the year 2004? It is definitely a memorable year for me. All those working experiences have been enlightening in one way or another – I have learnt to handle interpersonal skills and criticisms better, to be more careful at my work as well as to be more observant.
It is great to have some people who have been staying by my side while I was feeling down. Without them I could have broken down into pieces a long time ago! You know who you are! Thank you!
Stress – yes. This has been a stressful year for me in many ways. Handling so many things at a time is really not easy. However, if one wants to be extraordinary, he has to live an extraordinary life. Bearing that in mind does make me feel better. However, I wonder if I am anywhere close to “extraordinary” sometimes.
One of my New Year Resolutions is to be more careful and observant – I have already promised my music teacher that last month. I need to develop the eye of an eagle such that I can be more alert in the things happening around me. On top of that, I also hope that I can find more satisfaction in life. Life without any sense of satisfaction is not worth living.
Happy New Year to all and let there be peace on earth!

| The US Presidential Election is finally over. Congratulations to President Bush.
Although I am not a 100% Bush supporter, I would have voted for Bush if I were an American. Mr Kerry seems to be very promising but unfortunately, he failed to convey his plans for America in the future and emphasised too much on attacking the weak points of President Bush.
On the other hand, Bush focus on the issue of Terrorism which is the main concern of the majority of the Americans. He made a sensible remark that this is not the time to change the Leader of America in the times of war. - which is very powerful, especially to those risk adversed Americans.
Let's hope that President Bush will bring glory and not gory to America in the coming four years.
| On the 25 Oct 2004, I had my wisdom tooth extracted. It was my first time and I am glad that it is done. The surgery was a bit painful but I managed to pull through. I can feel the stitches in my mouth now and I just can't wait to get it removed next week.
My dentist returned my wisdom tooth to me - in a bottle. It was broken into pieces as my tooth was in a horizontal position. He needs to saw it up before extracting it.
Dr Lim said,"Jennifer, you've done very well." - and I think it should be the other way round,"Dr Lim, you've done very well!"
I'm on five days MC but I will get back to work on Friday. I hope that work load will not be too heavy on that day as I have to go for my Chopin concert at the Esplanade that night.
I have been sleeping alot and doing of my own stuff for these few days - it has been a long time since I have a chance to do my personal things.
One more day to go and I'll be back to work.
| Life is predestined. No one can escape from what he has to go through in life.
After watching TVB drama – Point of No Return. I understand better that love is fated and no external factors can alter any predestined love.
Families that are set up with love are so precious. Nothing on earth can be compared with the warmth a good family can bring. – a good family is so powerful, it can assist people to solve many problems and even if not so, relief them from any emotional stress.

| Today marked a significant day for me. I managed to find my Primary School's Website - http://bpms.edu.hk/index.htm. I was so overwhelmed till I almost cried in the office. It has been 11 years since I left that school, and those precious memories refreshed when I looked at the various photos posted at the website.
The classrooms looked the same but I guess all the teachers had left. It is quite disappointing to look at the staff group photo and not being able to recognize any faces.
The school is going to change the school uniform and move to a new campus located at Kowloon Bay - no longer at Ngau Tau Kok.
The old campus will stay in my heart forever.
